The variable-cross-section jib combines high strength with an optimised self weight, and the slewing motion is realised by a reduction gear working together with the slewing bearing. As a result the jib turns smoothly and can be positioned accurately, whether the slewing is driven electrically or pushed by hand, so the crane adapts easily to different duties and operator preferences.

The electric hoist or winch travels back and forth along the rail of the jib and covers the full working radius, maximising the usable lifting envelope.
