The intelligent metallurgical feeding overhead crane is purpose-designed for the charging process in nickel-iron smelting. It handles the lifting and loading of furnace-specific charging containers and operates at a high duty cycle with a high degree of automation. Rated capacity 40t. Span 22.5~19.5m. Lifting height up to 35~40~40m. The crane leverages proprietary anti-sway patent technology and precision positioning to achieve fully automated charging.
The crane completes the entire charging sequence within the process time window specified by the metallurgical cycle. Using proprietary anti-sway control and precision positioning combined with an automatic spreader, the charging operation runs fully automatically: automatic pick-up, transport, alignment, and discharge. The entire system is driven by variable-frequency drives offering a wide speed range and smooth operation.
